This event raises money for cancer research at the Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center and Washington University School of Medicine.
Over the last 7 years the gala has raised more than $12 million in donor funds; so we were ecstatic at the end of the night when celebrity guest Dana Carvey announced the event had raised over 3 million dollars in donations. A record breaking amount!
We are so thrilled to contribute to the success of this wonderful event and the work that it helps to fund. We’ll see you next year!

In 2012 Vidzu interviewed Erica, a breast cancer survivor, for the Illumination Gala. She said in that interview she hoped to live until her 3 children graduated high school.
